Apple went all of 2023 without updating its iPad line, so it stands to reason that we have an iPad refresh headed our way soon. Today, 91Mobiles published some schematics it says were shared by “industry insiders” on what the next generation of the iPad Air might look like.According to the renders, the iPad Air will be 12.9 inches, making it the largest in the iPad Air lineup. The device will have a Touch ID button on the top of the device, with speaker grilles on both the top and bottom as well.Much like previous models, the USB-C port will be on the bottom of the device, and the tablet will have a switch on the side for controlling the volume. The renders show a small adjustment to the rear camera on the Air, with a border around the lens and LED flash on the device. The device is expected to have an LCD display similar to the current model and run on Apple’s M2 chip.Overall, it’s not a tremendous redesign and looks more like a slight refresh of the current model more than anything else.

Of course, this is just a render rather than an actual picture, and Apple hasn’t formally made any announcements regarding the device, so there’s a chance all this could be different when it comes time for the company to show off the next generation of the device.
