Google teased a new colorway for the Pixel 8 Pro called Minty Fresh. It will be up for sale after January 25 at midnight PT, and today a render of the phone appeared online.
One official-looking teaser was posted by Evan Blass on their X profile, and the phone definitely looks refreshingly Green.
The last time Google had a Greenish paint job for a smartphone was the Pixel 6a in May. The arrival of Minty Fresh will be the first green option for a big Pixel and the fourth color choice after Obsidian (Black), Porcelain (Whiteish), and Bay (Blue). The phone will also have a Green theme out of the box.
On the inside, the phone will likely remain the same – Tensor G3 chipset, 50 MP main camera, and pure Android 14 with promised 7 years of software support.
We reviewed the phone when it was announced, and while Google still didn’t fix some issues like battery life and chipset performance under heavy load, we still approved it as a full package.
