These are publicly available and we’ve spotted that the new 4080 Super shows a minuscule improvement over the non-Super card in this particular test. Before you find out where to buy the RTX 4080 Super, you may want to reflect on these Blender benchmarks which have appeared on their Open Data website which features a massive amount of stats to comb through. Results for the 4080 Super card are here and unfortunately there isn’t too much of a difference to be seen if you were hoping the Super would benefit from a vast improvement over the existing 4080. 2,295 MHz (base) / 2,550 MHZ (boost) RTX 4080 Super Blender benchmarks If you’re interested in the median scores for these two, see just below. One thing worth noting at least is that the non-Super 4080 has (of course) way more benchmark tests performed to give a more accurate median score. The Super has just 14 benchmarks to the non-Super’s 246. The RTX 4080 Super specs do offer some marginal improvements. The real selling point is the lower price tag at launch, so that helps redeem it. Which GPU should I use for Blender? This flagship card remains the best of the best, and the 4080 Super really doesn’t come too much closer at all. The median score for the RTX 4090 sits at a massive 11,321.77. Compare that to the 4080 Super’s 8,826.65 and you’ll find a 28% increase in performance, making the flagship really stand out and the number one card for the job, albeit at plenty of added expense.
