A lot of QD-OLED gaming monitors are hitting the market this year, with brands like Alienware already jumping in early with their AW2725DF and AW3225QF displays. Sitting either side of the $1,000 mark, they are definitely expensive, but MSI is offering competitive price tags to undercut them.
Other brands releasing QD-OLEDs this year include Samsung and ASUS, but it looks like MSI may offer the cheapest option as they have revised the pricing of their 321URX, 271QRX, and 491CQP models. These are their latest 4K, 1440p, and super ultrawide QD-OLED monitors respectively.
Revised price for MSI QD-OLED monitors
Both the new 4K and 1440p/QHD monitors are generously priced below $1,000, which seems to be excellent value for money as far as high-end OLEDs are concerned. Considering the 32″ ROG Swift PG32UCDM will set you back a massive $1,299, the revised $949.99 price tag of MSI’s equivalent looks like the one to beat. See a full list of key details just below.

With Alienware pricing their 32″ and 27″ models at $1,199.99 and $899.99 respectively, many people may opt to wait for MSI’s pick here and bag themselves some extra value for money. Samsung will also be releasing their new OLED G6, OLED G8, and OLED G9 Odyssey gaming monitors, but we don’t expect them to come quite as cheap.
Which MSI QD-OLED monitor is the best value?
In terms of price, we’d have to give the best value title to the MSI 321URX, a 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor with a smooth 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time which looks to provide a high-end gaming experience. Considering it is priced as much as $350 cheaper than some alternatives with similar specs, we think that beating it is going to be a tall order.
However, it looks like MSI offer good value for money across their new QD-OLED range, so we’ll have to wait and see how other brands react, especially with Samsung yet to reveal their own 2024 pricing.
