Motorola shared a few key announcements at this year’s MWC: all of its future smartphones will use Corning Gorilla Glass.
Motorola already uses Gorilla Glass on most of its flagship and midrange phones. Still, the new announcement confirms that even the entry-level Moto phones will offer better scratch and drop resistance thanks to Corning’s products.
By using Corning Gorilla Glass across all Motorola franchises, we aim to lead the industry by ensuring that every consumer has access to the durability and peace of mind that comes with this cutting-edge technology. – Ruben Castano, Motorola’s Head of Customer Experience
Motorola also announced Smart Connect – a set of continuity features that work across smartphones, tablets, and PCs from Motorola and Lenovo. The new seamless multi-device experience features cross-control between phone, tablet, and PC with support for a unified keyboard and mouse interaction across the three device form factors. You also get unified notifications sync, a smart clipboard, fast file sharing, and the ability to use your phone as a webcam.

Smart Connect will be available on any Lenovo PC running on Windows 10 or later from the Microsoft store, and on select Lenovo tablets and Motorola devices via Google Play Store in the coming months. The exact system requirements and supported devices will be shared soon.
