Google Wallet Will Now Automatically Add Your Boarding Passes And Movie Tickets



Google Wallet will now save your movie tickets and airline boarding passes automatically from your confirmation email.In Google Wallet’s latest release notes, Google says that both boarding passes and movie tickets are now surfaced automatically in Google Wallet when a user purchases a ticket and gets a confirmation email via Gmail. Google says the integration is already live for “some global movie chains and airlines” and that it is working to expand the feature to include more.In addition to automatically adding passes and tickets, Google is also making it easier to manage the passes that you have in Google Wallet. Now most passes can be manually archived by users to a new ‘Archived Passes’ section. You can also unarchive previously expired or archived passes and archive passes directly from any Wear OS device.A new beta feature is Wallet also now allows you to highlight membership benefits from loyalty cards saved in your Wallet while you’re growing products on Google Search and Shopping.

The update makes Google Wallet even more indispensable for Android users. Last month, the company also announced plans to sunset Google Pay in favor of focusing payments with the app.
