HMD Pulse Series Smartphones Leaked By Retailer

In January, there was a report indicating that HMD Global might introduce its own lineup of smartphones under the HMD brand. Until now, the company has relied on Nokia’s branding. Over the past few years, we have seen a variety of products including Nokia smartphones and also the revival of iconic feature phones. However, HMD Global is poised to move forward by launching their own branded smartphones, distancing themselves from Nokia’s name. The latest report reveals some details regarding HMD Pulse series smartphones.

The new report comes from Suomimobili, a Finnish Online publication. The source reveals the key specifications of upcoming HMD smartphones. This leaked information comes from retailers.

Gizchina News of the week

HMD Pulse is going to be the first smartphone under new branding. It will have two siblings, making it a lineup of three smartphones; Pulse, Pulse+, and Pulse Pro.
According to the report, the vanilla Pulse model will feature a T606 system chip developed by Unisoc. Moreover, it will be paired with 4 or 8 gigabytes of RAM. On the software side, it will rock the Android 14 operating system.
Moreover, the report reveals that the HMD Pulse+ features a 6.56-inch display. The phone comes out of the box with Android OS. It is not disclosed which version, though we hope to see the latest Android 14. The Plus version comes with Midnight Blue color, while there is a possibility of more color options. The phone will also feature 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Speaking of the HMD Pulse Pro smartphone, it will be available in a 6/128GB variant. The three color options for Pulse Pro are Twilight Purple, Black Ocean, and Glacier Green.

That said, the earlier report suggested 6 HMD smartphones, so there is much more to discover. We are expecting these smartphones to come out sometime in July. I hope HMD Global realizes the mistakes they made with Nokia smartphones, and does not repeat it with their new lineup. However, they should keep the good stuff, for example, the clean Android experience.
