The affordable yet reliable smartwatch and fitness tracker manufacturer Amazfit leaped into the smart ring race by announcing its first Amazfit Helio ring in January. Samsung’s Galaxy Ring rival is all set to launch in the US. Amazfit has officially confirmed the US availability and pricing for the ring. Let’s delve into the details.
According to Amazfit’s press release, the Helio ring will be available for purchase starting May 15 either as a part of a bundle with the Amazfit Cheetah Pro or Amazfit T-Rex Ultra or as an independent purchase via the Amazfit’s official website. Starting at $299, the Amazfit Helio Ring brings advanced sensors and a lightweight ergonomic design that offers a comfortable fit when worn on the finger. However, Amazfit says the initial inventory carries limited sizing options, but the firm also assured that additional sizes will be added in the future.
Furthermore, Amazfit added the ring reaches its full potential when used with Amazfit devices such as the Amazfit Cheetah Pro and Amazfit T-Rex Ultra smartwatch, thanks to seamless information syncing between the user’s watch and ring. Additionally, the Helio ring has 10ATM water resistance, so you can safely use it while playing sports and hitting intense gym sessions without worrying about water damage.
Coming to the Amazfit Helio ring hardware, Amazfit incorporated advanced health sensors into the ring which Amazfit claims is best for tracking sleep and recovery. The ring is made of skin-friendly titanium alloy and the compact structure weighs less than 4 grams. “The sensor’s proximity to the user’s pulse enables even more health data measurement; resulting in unparalleled recovery monitoring, analysis, and guidance when data is collated in the Zepp app for athletes looking to pursue every competitive edge”, said Amazfit.
Like smartwatches, the Helio ring effortlessly tracks your sleep cycles and monitors heart rate, blood oxygen level, and other health metrics such as body recovery time, readiness score, and more. You can track all your detailed health insights through the Zepp companion app. Also, the Zepp app will optimize the user’s training and recovery routines based on the recently recorded data for peak performance.
Amazfit’s Helio ring kicks off at $299 when purchased independently and when paired with Amazfit Cheetah Pro or Amazfit T-Rex Ultra, it is priced at $149.99. Amazfit will announce the full bundle pricing shortly.
