AppleApple has launched its latest iPad Pro models at the “Let Loose” event, unveiling significant upgrades including OLED displays and a slimmer design. The new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pros now feature tandem OLED technology, which promises deeper blacks and superior contrast. Apple claims these are the thinnest iPads ever, with the 13-inch model being just 5.1 millimeters thick.
A notable addition is the optional nano-texture glass, designed to reduce glare and improve visibility in challenging lighting conditions. This feature, however, comes with a premium price. It is available only on the higher storage models (1TB and 2TB), adding $100 to their cost, which starts at $1,599 and $1,999 respectively.

The devices are powered by Apple’s new M4 chip, which boasts a 50% increase in CPU performance compared to the M2 chip, and promises to use half the power. The iPad Pros also feature upgraded cameras and accessories such as the redesigned Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro, enhancing functionality and user experience.
Prices start at $999 for the 11-inch model with 256GB of storage, while the 13-inch starts at $1,299. Both models are available for pre-order and will hit the stores on May 15th. The inclusion of nano-texture glass aligns with Apple’s strategy to position the iPad Pro as a viable laptop replacement, offering advanced features for professional users in a portable format.
