Today we have the brand new Poco F6 in the house. It ships with a 90W charger, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a case.
The Poco F6 differs from its Pro counterpart in a few ways – display, processor, charging speed, and cameras (though the difference is quantitive rather than qualitative). You can check out our unboxing of the Poco F6 Pro here.
The screen here is a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED of a 1220x2712px resolution, while with the Pro, you get a higher-res 1440p unit.
Then there’s the chipset – the Poco F6 packs a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 – a 4nm chip with a newer Cortex-X4 core to the Cortex-X3 in the F6 Pro’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, the older chip ramps up to 3.2GHz, whereas here you’re limited to 3.0GHz. In the end, it will likely be a battle of minute differences – we’ll sort it out in our reviews of both. The F6 Pro also gets faster 120W charging.
Finally, the Poco F6 packs just two cameras – a 50MP f/1.6 and an 8MP ultrawide – the F6 Pro has a bigger sensor main camera, seemingly the same ultrawide, but also a 2MP macro.
We have the black model, which appears to have a texture, but is actually smooth to the touch. It’s a bit slippery actually.
