Samsung has introduced its first Galaxy AI-powered Galaxy Book 4 Edge laptop. It’s also the company’s first laptop built on Microsoft’s Copilot Plus platform. Microsoft announced a whole list of Copilot Plus PCs at its recent surface event, and Samsung’s latest Book 4 Edge is also part of it.
Samsung Book 4 Edge 14-inch model starts at $1,349 while the 16-inch variant retails at $1,749. It will be available starting from June 18 via Samsung’s official website and other authorized retailers. Samsung is offering a massive 50-inch Crystal UHD 4K TV as a bonus for those who pre-order the Book 4 Edge laptop via Samsung’s official website. The Galaxy Edge 4 Book is now available for preorder through Samsung’s official channels.
In terms of specifications, both 14-inch and 16-inch model boasts similar specifications. The Galaxy 4 Edge is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chipset with a 4.0GHz Dual-core boost, 16GB of RAM, and up to 1GB SSD. Qualcomm promises up to 45 TOPS of NPU performance for seamless on-device AI processing.
The device features a stunning 14/16-inch 2880 x 1800 dynamic AMOLED touchscreen display with 120Hz refresh rate support. As for connectivity, it has a bunch of ports including USB 4, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 Type A Port, and a headphone jack. You will get a variety of AI features in the Book 4 Edge including Live caption for real-time transcriptions in over 40+ languages, Microsoft’s AI-enhanced Cocreator for creative workflows, and other AI features that Microsoft unveiled in the Surface event.
Samsung’s in-house Galaxy AI is a new addition to the Book 4 Edge laptop which was first introduced in Galaxy S24 series devices. The Galaxy AI brings a bunch of new AI features such as Circle to Search, Live translate, Chat assist, and much more that takes the user experience to the next level.
