FEELWORLD has just released a new 7” onboard monitor, the S7. It features a 1920×1200 display, a maximum brightness of 1600 nits, 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs with signal cross-conversion, an aluminum housing, support for 3D LUTs, and more. It is now available for $600.Chinese manufacturer FEELWORLD is well-known for producing affordable field monitors. Their products are worth taking a look at if you’re about to purchase your first external monitor or need a backup unit without breaking the bank.Last year, the company released the HDMI-only L7 monitor, which was one of the first FEELWORLD products to feature a metal – rather than plastic – housing. The new S7 has a similar, rugged design and adds 12G-SDI to the mix. Let’s take a closer look!FEELWORLD S7 – overviewThe new FEELWORLD S7 features a 7-inch IPS touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1920×1200, a contrast ratio of 1200:1, a viewing angle of 160°, 8-bit color (10-bit FRC), and 1600 nits of brightness. This may be a little disappointing, considering that most monitors can reach 2000cd/m² nowadays.FEELWORLD S7 7-inch on-camera monitor.
