Xiaomi’s HyperOS made its debut in China last year. It took HyperOS up until January 2024 rolled in to arrive globally starting with Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6 in India last month. Cut to now, Xiaomi has confirmed a global rollout for HyperOS that will replace the current-gen MIUI 14 and we have the list of devices that will experience improved performance and fluid interface.
List of Xiaomi phones and tablets getting HyperOS
Users testing the Xiaomi 14 have reported that the UI fluidity has significantly improved. While maintaining the recognizable design of MIUI 14, the interface exhibits improved responsiveness and seamless navigation, resolving a persistent issue raised by Xiaomi users.
The launch of Xiaomi’s most recent flagship series, the Xiaomi 14, and HyperOS’s global expansion occur at the same time. Early adopters can experience the new interface directly on these devices as they are pre-configured with it. Moreover, the HyperOS update is planned for older Xiaomi models in the forthcoming months.
The Xiaomi 13 series, Xiaomi 12 series, Xiaomi 12T series, Redmi Note 13 series, Redmi Note 12 series (5G variants), Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, Xiaomi Pad 6, and Redmi Pad SE are among the confirmed devices scheduled to receive the HyperOS update.
Even though Xiaomi promises a release in the first half of 2024, the release schedule is still a little unclear. This schedule suggests that some users may have to wait up to four months for the Android 14-based HyperOS, which Xiaomi hopes to ship by the end of June.
However, the POCO brand is conspicuously absent from the update schedule. We are aware that HyperOS will come pre-installed on the upcoming POCO X6 Pro, giving consumers an early look at the new interface. More information will be released as the HyperOS rollout develops.
