Nikon’s Z8 with 24-120mm f/4 Lens & FTZ II Adapter Is On Discount

Nikon’s Z8 full-frame mirrorless camera is one of the brand’s best options for both quality and price, and it’s nearly as good as Nikon’s flagship Z9.
Also, right now, though it normally retails for $4,896, the Nikon Z8 full-frame mirrorless camera is going for $4,596 on B&H with a versatile 24-120mm f/4 Lens and FTZ II Adapter Kit included.

With this package, you have a ready-to-shoot bundle that should let you get going right out of the box with its extremely robust photo and video specs.
We’ve previously seen the Z8 sell for even lower, but this particular price isn’t too bad at all compared to waiting until Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
In the Nikon camera roster, the Z8 is one of the brand’s best-selling models.
The reason why is simple at its core: it offers specs nearly as good as those of the flagship Nikon Z9 while costing much less. By comparison, the Z9 currently goes for $5,496 just for the camera body.
Overall, the Z8 is probably the single best all-around camera being sold by Nikon right now, and it certainly gives comparable rival models like Canon’s R5 and Sony’s A7R V a run for their money.
The camera’s 45MP full-frame FX-Format Stacked CMOS sensor delivers superbly detailed and vibrantly colorful photos in multiple formats while the camera weighs much less than the Z9.
It’s also 20% smaller than its cousin despite many shared features.
This reasonably compact shooter can also pull off excellent video recording, being capable of both 8.3K 60p N-RAW, 4.1K 60p ProRes RAW video, 8K30p and 4K120p Video formats among others.
For video duration, the Z8 can shoot for up to 120 minutes at 60fps and is even capable of handling 90 minutes of recording at 8K30p.
Another useful part of the Z8’s photo shooting chops is its insanely fast shutter speed of 1/32,000 seconds, making it ideal for sports, nature and action photography.
Further bolstering the Z8’s photographic power are its shooting speed specs.
This camera can handle continuous shooting speeds of 20 fps when shooting in raw, 30 fps in JPEG and 60 fps if shooting 19MP JPEGs using a DX area. It even has a setting for pulling off a 120 fps shooting rate if you just need a whole bunch of compact 11MP stills.
Also worth noting, all of the above shooting speeds fully support full AF/AE performance.
The bottom line: the Z8 is one of the best options on the market as a medium-range full-frame camera and if you can get it for $300 less than its usual price, that’s not a bad offer at all.
This particular deal includes the superbly versatile 24-120mm f/4 Lens and an FTZ adapter.

With the 24-120mm f/4 lens, you get an optic that lets you shoot both high-detail telephoto zoom shots while also being great for street and portrait photography.
As for the FTZ II Adapter kit, it lets you expand the Z8’s lens compatibility with a huge range of 360 Nikkor lenses from the brand’s F format.
Once again, all of the above for $4,596 is hard to beat. The deal is still running right now.
