1. Can this LED light bar be cut to any length?

Answer: If the LED light strip for Tesla Model Y is too long after installation, you can cut off the end without the harness. However, if you cut the end of the harness, the light strip will no longer be powered.

2. After cutting can I wire the second half as another led light?

Answer: The cut light strip cannot be connected to another light strip because there is no wire harness for power.

3. What should I do if the front trunk light strip doesn’t work?

Answer: Please refer to the installation video or the 7th image on the product details page. If it still doesn’t work, please reach us via your order.

4. Will this frunk light strip fit for 2018 Model 3?

Answer: This frunk light strip is only fit for Tesla Model 3 / Model Y 2021 – 2023. It fits Model 3 perfectly, it may be a bit long for Model Y, but you can cut off the extra light strip.

5. After installing it, the light strip works fine, but the emergency button doesn’t work.

Answer: Connect the adapter plug to both the light strip and the frunk light panel socket, and the lights will light up. Attach the metal ring to the ground bolt to ensure the frunk button remains unaffected. If the metal ring cannot stay on the ground bolt, please get a small magnet attached to the metal ring. (Note: Package doesn’t include a small magnet)
